A night at Superica, steps from your door
Some restaurants fill a room. Others fill a mood. Superica — tucked right here in The Gulch at 605 Overton Street — does the latter with an ease that feels almost effortless. The moment you step through the door, something shifts. The light is warm, the music leans Austin, and the air smells faintly of a wood grill doing something worthwhile.
The Setting
Chef Ford Fry conceived Superica as a love letter to a very specific era: 1950s Tex-Mex, before it became shorthand for mass-produced mediocrity. The atmosphere leans Old West, with a bar that means business — over a hundred tequilas, margaritas mixed with intention, and enough room to settle in for an unhurried evening. It's casual in the best possible sense: no dress code, no pretension, just the kind of place you find yourself staying longer than you planned.
"A margarita on the rocks, chips and salsa, sizzling fajitas ... Superica has all the makings of a great night."
Codi Adams, The Quinley General Manager

From The Quinley
We're partial to recommending restaurants you can walk to without a second thought — and Superica, just minutes from our front door, has the added advantage of being exactly the kind of place you'll want to return to before your stay is over. A margarita on the patio in the late afternoon light, or a full table of fajitas after an evening on Broadway — it fits every version of a Nashville night.
